She will be serving as our new leader effective 7/1/21 after we bid a fond farewell to Frank Hayes who is retiring.

NRV DRC Staff Stays Safe by Working From Home

 Due to the recent global pandemic and ongoing safety concerns, our office is taking every precaution necessary to ensure the well-being of our staff, our consumers, and our community.  Therefore, staff are not currently working from the office and we are not taking any face to face appointments until further notice. 

However, we are still serving persons with disabilities in the New River Valley from our homes during regular business hours. Please contact us at 540-266-1435 or email info@nrvdrc.org with any questions or concerns. All calls and emails will be returned within one business day.

Tips on preventing COVID-19

NRV DRC’s Community Advocate Meets With Pulaski’s Rotary Club

On January 21st, 2020, the Community Advocate, Tiffany Allison of the New River Valley Disability Resource Center, attended a luncheon with Pulaski County’s Rotary Club.

She was able to share NRV DRC’s Mission and talked with club members about the services we offer to individuals in our community with disabilities.

Congratulations to NRV DRC’s Hokie Health & Wellness Raffle Winner!

On January 15, 2020 NRV DRC staff participated in the Hokie Health & Wellness Fair at Virginia Tech. There was a great turn out and we enjoyed informing people about all of the services we offer at NRV DRC.

As an incentive, those who came by our booth and chose to sign up would have a chance to win a gift basket from Chocolate Paper located in Roanoke, VA.

On January 16, 2020 we announced our lucky winner, Janet Murphy. Congratulations Janet and thank you so much for stopping by and entering into our raffle, we hope you enjoy your gift basket!
